10.06.2022 another corker from Jennifer Marohasy!

23.05.2022 Tin crafting workshop ~ If you have visited the Amiens Legacy Centre recently, you may have noticed that you can purchase items of jewellery and souvenirs made from tin, a small portion of which has been mined from our very own 13 Mile Creek. These have proven to be extremely popular with visitors and have become a neat little revenue stream for AHA. Roger and Colleen generously provide the use of their tin smelting workshop for the creation of these trinkets and are holding another crafting session on Sunday 18th July at 2pm. If you are interested in attending and participating in the process of turning raw tin into beautiful pieces of art, please contact Colleen and Roger (details available on our website www.amiensqldhistory.com).
