Everyone in the area is excited to be out and a...bout again so bookings are highly recommended wherever you are heading. Even if you don't book a tour with My McLaren Vale I hope you get out there and visit those lonely cellar door staff

24.01.2022 CO-VID 19 Update Now that travel restrictions within South Australia have been lifted The Grape and Olive is open and ready for business. Over the past few weeks we have made the most of our time. Mark has built a fabulous carport to provide some under cover parking for our guests. I have been busy cleaning and making sure we are up to date with all the latest advice and guidelines to keep our guests safe. With that in mind we have put some extra measures in place during this... time ,including: 1. Making sure we have at least a one full day & night window between each guest to allow us prepare and air the property prior to your stay. 2. Completing a deep clean prior to each guest as per government guidelines which recommends using detergent or soap and water to remove dirt, grease, dust, and germs. Once the surface is clean, spray with a disinfectant. Let it stand for a few minutes, then wipe with paper towel or a disposable cloth. 3. All bedding is washed thoroughly after each stay and is set at the highest setting using laundry sanitiser. We are happy for guest to bring their own bedding if that is their preference. 4. We will provide wipes and hand sanitiser for all guests for use during their stay and will ensure we always have plenty of essential items available such as toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. You will find that a lot of the local restaurants are offering take-away or heat-at-home services and as restrictions continue to ease places are starting to open up to limited guests. Willunga Market is a great place to visit for fresh produce and there are so many lovely spots to enjoy a walk including beaches, parks and the forest. Both units have ampul heating so you can snuggle up with a DVD and a bottle of wine and a take-away and relax.

18.01.2022 New Restaurant and Taphouse The long standing Barn location has been taken over and is now the very impressive Ogre Brewing Co. offering their own beers, ot...her local drinks and a terrific menu. What a difference a lick of paint and some freshness can do to a place as the vibe is open, fun and welcoming. The staff are very nice, eager to help and the menu is unique and offers many reasons to come back and try it all. This storied location has been brought back to life after a few quiet years and will be a popular spot for locals and tourists being open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week Now you know so get out there and enjoy this wonderful region we live in!

01.01.2022 Exciting news !!! We are happy to announce that our South Coast tap house has relocated to 8 Hill Street, Willunga. We can now offer a unique beer experience wi...th high quality food and a fantastic atmosphere. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12-9pm we kick things off with a new barrel aged Pale Ale for your enjoyment. This beer will be poured from our new hand pump system. Our brewery will still be available for hire for all your special occasions, larger groups and bus tour bookings. Bookings are welcome at both venues.
