24.01.2022 As many of you are aware already, this year's Melbourne Comedy Festival was cancelled yesterday, meaning that our run of shows planned for this coming school holidays will consequently not be going ahead also. It was set to be our first time performing in our hometown of Melbourne for around 9 months, and while we completely support the festival's decision, our hearts are completely broken at the news that we will no longer be able to continue to do what we love for the fores...eeable future. For everyone who already purchased tickets to our Melbourne shows, the Comedy Festival will be in contact with each of you in the coming days. Our thoughts go out to the entire performing arts industry, as well as everyone who is suffering during this very difficult time. This weekend at Adelaide Fringe will be our last 2 shows in Australia for potentially a very long time so please if you are in the city, we would love to see as many of you there as possible. As for everyone back home, our Melbourne family, we will be back as soon as we possibly can. Much love to you all, Sam & Justin

12.01.2022 Terrible news coming in from Edinburgh yesterday announcing the cancellation of the 2020 festival. We appreciate this as a necessary step to take in ensuring the health and safety of the public, but to see the biggest arts festival in the world shelving all preparations and to no longer be able to proceed as planned is deeply devestating. We were received with open arms last year and welcomed into this incredible culture by not only the Fringe and our new family at Assembly F...estival, but the city as a whole. Our hearts are with you all during this difficult and trying time. One thing for sure is that the undying spirit and love for the arts that lives within every single organiser, staff member, performer and of course the Edinburgh people, will not be dampened by this and continue to inspire. 2021 will bring with it the most exciting, purpose-driven and impactful festival yet, and best believe we will be right there to help make it happen in whatever way we can

08.01.2022 FREE PRIMARY SCHOOL SHOWS! To celebrate their long-awaited return to their hometown of Melbourne in this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival the boys from The Greatest Magic Show are once again offering a FREE 20 MINUTE PERFORMANCE of the show to primary schools in around the Melbourne CBD area! This time around, due to very tight scheduling of shows beforehand, we are only offering 1 week of dates between Monday March 23rd, and Friday March 27th (the last week... of term!). If you are a teacher / leader at your primary school who has time available during this period, please DM the page expressing your interest and we can take it from there! Otherwise, please share this post around and tag your school / a school representative below and we will do our best to organise as many schools as we can!! TAG AWAY and GOOD LUCK!!

02.01.2022 Update on our NZ shows below. It is quickly becoming apparent that today's final show as apart of Adelaide Fringe, will be our last public show for a very long time. We hope to see as many of you there as possible. It breaks our heart having to cancel show after show, as performing is literally what we live for, and what we love doing more than anything else. We hope making these difficult decisions helps to ensure that we are all safer because of it.... Please respect and be kind to one another during these times - we are all in this together
