16.01.2022 Excited to announce the grand opening of our new business - The Green House Ballarat. To help celebrate the opening we are having a pop up warehouse sale this Saturday 21st November from 10-3pm. We are also giving away a $100 voucher (conditions apply). 09.01.2022 We are so excited to announce that "The Green House Ballarat" our new business venture which has been in the making since December last year is soon to launch. Let me introduce myself - Hi I'm Di, my husband Daniel and I owned and operated Aghadoe Estate a successful B & B and wedding venue for the past 8 years. We sold the property late last year and have decided to start a new business. Our love of gardening was the driving factor for the new business. So the idea for... The Green House Ballarat was born. We commenced our search for a property in which we could sell plants, pots and homewares. Initially we found a cute little shop in the heart of Ballarat but as fate would have it the owner of the shop was overseas and uncontactable by the agent for over 6 months! We took this as a sign that maybe it wasn’t meant to be so we decided we would start looking for another building. We came across a fabulous old warehouse and we knew we could make it work. Not only could we sell plants, pots and homewares but because of its size we could also turn it into an amazing green space that could also host creative workshops, functions and weddings. We are still busy working on the renovations inside and out at the warehouse at the moment, but we hope to opening very soon. We will be offering a huge range of quality indoor plants, lovely pots and planters and homewares. We also have a lovely courtyard which will be set up with a range of boutique outdoor plants and lovely pots, urns and garden ornaments. Plans are in place to have a small cafe up and running and to be also offering creative workshops as soon as we can. We will also be hosting functions and weddings from early next year (fingers crossed) once COVID-19 restrictions ease! Stay tuned for more exciting updates soon!!
