25.01.2022 As part of the State Government requirements, The Grove Church has registered as a location for the SafeWA app. If you have a smart phone you can download the SafeWA app and register as an individual. Upon entry to the building there'll be a place to scan the QR code for our location. If you do not have a smart phone or leave your phone at home, there will also be a sheet of paper to record your attendance. This is all to help with tracing any COVID-19 spread. 22.01.2022 Hello Parents! ~ POLICY UPDATE ~ Welcome to the return of Grove Kids... but in a new location. As part of our venue change, we have reviewed and updated the Child Protection Policy; and some of the sign-in processes. Please see below to note the changes: The Sunday School class ages are now split into Early Childhood (Creche to Pre-Primary) and Primary School (Grades 1 to 6). ... The Early Childhood class will continue to be signed-in at the door of the classroom. However, we will ask you to check that your child has a clean nappy or has been to the toilet within the last 30 minutes, prior to being released into our care. (Its your choice if you ask them to go at home or make use of the facilities adjacent to their classroom). If your child requires a nappy change or a trip to the toilet (or changing of soiled clothing), we will send you a text-message and ask you to attend to your childs needs. This is to ensure that the highest level of protection is offered for our children and volunteers. We appreciate your co-operation. Those attending the Primary Class will SIGN IN at the back of the MAIN AUDITORIUM, prior to the class starting. The children will continue to join their parents for the music-part of the service and then attend their class during the sermon. At this point the attendance sheet will be taken to the Sunday School room in Tuart Block (the building immediately to the left of the Main Auditorium). Please proceed to the classroom to sign in, if you have missed the music-part of the worship service. *Also of note: Grandis Primary is an Allergy Aware School so the consumption of nuts and other major allergens, while on campus, will be discouraged in order to comply with their policy.
