08.01.2022 We had a special guest performance for NAIDOC week. One of the performers was Ngrakani Mundy which in Ngarrindjeri language means shark. He is a Yideki player and has performed at the Commonwealth Games. Another performer was Minya Harley, a Ngarrindjeri man. He is learning from his uncles to pass his cultural knowledge on to the next generations. They performed with Kardi Taylor who welcomed the Royals, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Kaurna land. He has been teaching traditional dancing in the community for over 15 years. These are Leeana’s family members and they donated their time in NAIDOC week to give our school a performance we could all embrace. #NAIDOCWeek2020 #alwayswasalwayswillbe
