24.01.2022 Thanks Tim & Naomi. The 26-Seater Hotel Bus will be available for upcoming wine tasting sessions at both Collingullie and the Borambola Wines Estate. Darren from The Good Grind will be supplying barista coffee at Gullie. Trading again from next Thur-Fri-Sat 4pm 'til 9pm (9pm minimum).

22.01.2022 Folks, we were ready to go for a restricted opening this evening. However ... as much as ScoMo would have liked that, Gladys made it very clear that she wasn't having a bar of it. The '3-Step Plan' has also just been released which counts us out for now. So, the draught taps will remain idle and we'll have to hold off on the get-together for the time being. That said, I want to extend my genuine gratitude to all those who have stuck by me and my family, thereby guaranteeing ...the viability of our country pub, during this lockdown; Vanessa in particular, and Teresa, Jess, Charlotte & Georgie for going above and beyond the call of duty. And of course, all those who have shared/liked our posts, frequented 'The Establishment' for the bottle shop & the Tue, Fri, Sat night food orders. The 'family pack' orders and slow-cooked meat nights btw, will be continued permanently beyond the lock-down due to their popularity and your feedback. Silver Linings. We've managed to get some work done on the pub itself. And personally, I now realise that I have been quite blind to many of the simple things that people would have liked but country people have been too polite to mention; The NRL Should be starting soon, will be up on Thursday nights along with the cash draw, and will be treated like a Tuesday darts night with finger food for all. Netball too, if I can get some guidance from the club ... AFL - still waiting on developments. AND MUSIC! I've been slack. Guilty as charged. We had just lined up a twice-a-month live music programme. We began with Phil Pye and were shut down before Phil Hartwig could come over the following fortnight. Chasing others now. We're also getting some decent playlists together. Open to contributions ... 30-Seater Bus The dry-hire from Tallimba will be returned next Monday and exchanged for a permanent 30-seater ex-school bus. Looking at setting up scheduled runs to Currawarna and surrounds on Thursday, and possibly Tuesday, evenings. Open to other runs and timings including Wagga & Lockhart, let me know. Misc. Len Osbourne is cutting the first upholstery template to finish off the dining booths, that annoying coin-operated pool table to be replaced, the kids area with high-voltage fencing will be finished shortly and the beer garden has had a clean up, paint, timber stain and varnish job. 10.01.2022 We are reopening TOMORROW (Thursday)This week we will be open Thursday Friday & Saturday 4pm- 9pm(minimum) Week of the 8th will be be open Thursday Friday and Saturday ... Noon- 9pm (minimum) The following week we will hopefully open back under normal hrs. Some of the guideline which need to be followed so we can re open are : - Bookings for meals is recommended due to social distancing restrictions. (Wed hate to have to turn you away) you HAVE to be seated and practise social distancing. Families and groups of up to 10 can be seated at the same table. Children are to remain seated at all times and be with a parent or guardian. You have to sign in. There will be a book available just inside the main bar door, and near the dining room, please write your name and phone number. If at all unwell or have a cough, fever, cold or flu, please stay at home. You will be asked to leave. - Strict compliance with these restrictions is critical to ensuring that we remain open and continue on towards normal trading conditions. Significant penalties, including $55,000 fines and forced closure apply to persons and businesses in breach of a public Health Order. We have made it this far lets not blow it now,If we do it right, the quicker we will have these restrictions lifted.
