17.01.2022 Thanks to all ticket holders who have supported last weeks announcement regarding Dashville festivals in 2020. We just want to reiterate that whilst Dashville is eager to bring the party back, we're also aware that restrictions on large public gatherings could still go either way. So we've re-designed the remainder of Dashville's calendar for 2020. We're working on some smaller events and we've redesigned the Sky Ball event. ... The Sky Ball is essentially now smaller and more flexible, which will hopefully allow us to work within whatever the frame work will be come October. It's uncharted territory and Dashville will be taking small careful steps as we inch closer, navigating both the government and event/music/tourism industry advice as it evolves. Just in case some missed it, this was the final paragraph as part of the governments latest announcement regarding public gatherings and COVID-19: 'Music festivals and nightclubs will continue to remain closed in July as the Health advice remains that these venues and activities pose a high risk of the virus spreading. It is anticipated that restrictions will be eased further in August if community transmission of the virus remains low.' For the latest information please go to nsw.gov.au/covid-19
16.01.2022 Happy 2021 everyone! Here with some exciting news to report.. As we forge ahead with planning for The Gum Ball 2021 we are excited to announce the inclusion of an awesome Youth Mentorship Program! Thanks to funding provided by Festivals Australia, Dashville will be providing ten musically minded kids from regional NSW the opportunity to enjoy a five day immersive experience as part of the three day festival. ... The mentor program will cover areas such as stage production and lighting, producing and recording, songwriting and performance, with the students collaborating towards a special performance as part of the closing ceremony on 18th April. Pretty cool hey! We'll provide more info in coming weeks as to how your child can apply to be involved. 14.01.2022 Local artist Dave Wells joined us at Dashville to record a few songs as part of Gum Ball TV. Recorded live in the Tractor Shed, Rusty Cage was the first tune he performed. A mesmirizing song from his last record, one that reminds us why he is regarded as a giant amongst his peers.

Lead by local multi-instrumentalist and music educator Gleny Rae Virus and her Playboys, the 'Darlings of Dashville' show will present a mammoth collection of well-loved songs made famous by such iconic femmes as Carly Simon, Aretha Frankllin, Suzi Quatro, Kate Bush and of cou...rse the late great Helen Reddy. Here's a clip of the glory days back in 2016, when the supergroup tackled Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers classic 'Ameri...can Girl', featuring Dave Wells on vocals.
