20.01.2022 Hello all. We have been genuinely surprised and humbled by the well-wishers and bookings we have already received. So thanks, you crazy kids! In an attempt to keep you all in the loop, we had set the 16 June date to comply with 20 people dining, however we became aware that as of last Monday, you were able to have 2 x rooms of 10 people dining.... As you old mates are in the know, we actually have four separate areas at the G.U.T., and so we are legally allowed 20 diners per sitting as of now. We are, however, frantically trying to finish off plastering, painting, gardening, concreting (?), re-wiring, deep cleaning, re-stocking the kitchen, other stock, and most importantly Ados beer gathering. (We thought we had another 4 weeks!) So we were anticipating to open before this weekend, BUT it doesnt look like its gunna happen. Sorry. To allow everyone to get their bums into gear and their groups together, we have moved the NEW date to Wednesday 3rd June!! SO..... those who have booked for the later open date, we will be in contact with you in the next few days to check on relocating/keeping your booking, hold tight and we will call/text/facebook/Morse code. 03.01.2022 Hi guys. While we are on our new government hospitality awards scheme, we have made the decision to close the Gunners, kitchen and all, until we are allowed to fully re-open. We will be cleaning, maintaining, and shutting down essential equipment and ensuring we are ready to go as soo as we are able.... Because of this, and the saturated market of takeaways and delivered food, the decision has been made to close the kitchen for the duration. We have received heaps of enquiries in regard to this, but to our kitchens credit they run a tight ship and even opening one or two nights a week would mean resupplying the kitchen when we arent guaranteed enough custom. This the last week of our Oktoberfest celebrations We are cooking our Scrumptious Pork knuckle, Sauerkraut-Bratwurst Dog and Hot, fresh, Pretzels on Thursday Friday and Saturday nights. We have 12 special Gunners Arms Steins we will give to 12 very lucky diners who purchase a meal and a Weihenstephaner Hefe or Boekamp pils beer in our Stein Raffle!...
