It is important to remember that The Hair and Beauty Project is a group of individual professionals that rely upon your sensitivity and cooperation to maintain a livelihood during these uncertain times.... We want you to know that we are monitoring the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak situation closely and are adjusting our practices as needed and advised. Our Salon remains open, but its important that we give you as much information as possible about the procedures we adhere to in order to maintain a hygienic environment and ensure the safety of all our customers and staff. Following the advice of the Australian Government Department of Health, The Hair and Beauty Project is actively taking additional precautionary measures to minimise the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19). These include: Increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitisation of work, waiting stations and equipment. Providing additional hand sanitisers for clients and staff use for best hygiene and cleanliness practice. (when possible) All gowns and towels are single use before laundering. All staff are required to declare their health and travel status- we ask that clients extend the same courtesy prior to appointment. We ask that extra consideration be given to our work space and that non-essential visitors do not come in. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience, but the reduction of contact with additional guests be it children or adults, will greatly reduce the risk of potential infection.
