02.01.2022 #stepupforsara Hi Everyone, Leigh here, if you've ever been in you should know exactly which Barmaid I am One of our Local Legends Sara is having a Tough Time, to put it politely, and I'm hoping as a community, we can help her out.... When Sara told me she had been Diagnosed with an Triple Negative Breast Cancer I was Shocked. I had no idea what to say or do, so I kept myeslf together talking, then went inside and bawled my eyes out. Here's this absolutly stunning woman, younger than me and about to hit the best parts of life, and her entire world has just come crashing down. Saras family are all in Finland, apart from her amazing and supportive sister Taru. So to help them through, Funds need to be Raised. So maybe I can Help. I've been hitting Manning Stairs abit lately. They're semi enjoyable, although the most I've done is 16 times and it was definitely unpleasant. So I'm going to Step up for Sara and try help Raise her some more Support So I'm doing them 50 Times That's 9650 Stairs. And that's nothing in the scheme of Sara's Battle ahead. Plus who doesn't enjoy watching me in pain for a fantastic cause If you're in the Area on the Day, I'll be going from 5am! Swing Past and yell some words of Encouragement, or a Toot as you go Past!
