25.01.2022 It is with great pleasure to announce that under the new Victorian Government regulations, Hampton RSL will be taking steps to reopen as soon as next Wednesday, 3rd June. Hampton RSL now offers full table service for patrons, including food and beverage! Alongside this, a new menu will be offered by head chef Russell to include more seafood offerings. Two sittings per night. Table bookings must be kept to 6 people maximum. 19.01.2022 Following the Premier's update on 14th June, Hampton RSL would like to announce it will be opening for standard bar service on the 23rd June! Social distancing rules apply, and guests MUST be seated if they are drinking. Which means for us, if you haven't got a seat, we are at capacity! We can't wait to see you all for a drink

16.01.2022 Dear Members and Guests, It is with great sadness that we must announce the temporary closure of the Sub-Branch due to the order placed by the Victorian Government of 'non-essential' activity. We support the mitigation of the spread of the virus, hence we will not be trading for any reason until further notice. This includes activities such as bowls and snooker. Members are asked not to attend the venue at all, and remain in their homes to remain safe until directed otherwise.... We WILL be resuming with our Grand Opening once the time commences, and we can't wait to share with you all the hard work that has gone into the Hampton RSL over the last 6 months. 10.01.2022 HAMPTON RSL REOPENS! It is with great pleasure to announce that under the new Victorian Government regulations, Hampton RSL will be taking steps to reopen this Wednesday, 28th October. The standard of service will be in a similar format to our reopening after the first lockdown. With the current proposed regulations, patrons must be seated at a table to be in the venue. Drinks service only is permitted. Here's what our capacity will look like..... Under the new rules, the RSL is limited to 20 people inside the building, and 50 for outdoor dining. This means we can only accommodate 70 people at any time. 04.01.2022 This year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic ANZAC Day at the Hampton RSL won't be the same as it's always been, as we remain closed to keep our members and those of the larger community safe. We thought we would send a video clip to which reminded us what the day was all about, and we thought it might be of interest to you too. The good news is that we were very pleased to put on a lunch for the Legacy War Widows and Women's Auxiliary just before lockdown. Thank you to Sal...ly and Jules for the bags of lollies we gave to the ladies - they were absolutely wrapped. Please remember our senior veterans in this time and if you have their numbers don't be shy to give them a phone call in this time of lockdown. If anybody is in need during lockdown our welfare officer, Choc, has asked us to let you know that you can give him a call on 0425 701 038. Despite these unusual times, thank you for your support and together we can still honour the ANZAC spirit come ANZAC day, even if we are home.
