06.01.2022 It’s a sad day for K Town and our little biz As a team we have made the decision to cease all dine in service at @raawwcafe, shifting back to the take away model we rocked from June through until late September. Although we have LOVED sharing our space with our beautiful customers, it’s now causing too much stress and anxiety for my team considering the current covid climate in Kilmore. Our policies and procedures have been strict and to the letter from the start, we check... ID and take all the relevant information for our guest log, but right now we’ve chosen to make things safer for our team and our community. Furthermore, you may have noticed we closed earlier today, however you may not have noticed due to the enormous line that flowed the length of our block for best part of today. We didn’t feel comfortable making sour clients navigate the crowd to enter the store so made the decision to all head home early. A HUGE shout out to all of those getting tested and to everyone who socially distanced and respected each other and our shop front today while escaping the rain and patiently waiting for a test. We all want this period to be over and it seems everyone is doing their bit which is a huge relief. For the rest of this week, while the testing centre is operating, I will continue to trade for the morning on my own up until the line extends beyond our door. Coffee is CLEARLY an essential! As is making sure our community has access to healthy, nutritious meals. You are welcome to continue to phone through and collect orders for the morning and for lunch; unfortunately I cannot offer delivery while I am working solo. But I can run orders out to your vehicle if you wish to stay inside.
