15.01.2022 Day 7 on the Southern Ride is a great day on the bike. It's a long day with some rolling hills but so many highlights along the way. It is certainly one of our favourite days on the bike. We take a small detour up to Ratchparpha Dam which is the gateway to the beautiful Khao Sok National Park, or as our riders have named it, Avatar Land. There's coconut ice cream for lunch, stunning scenery and beers in the pool that sits under the towering limestone cliffs. 07.01.2022 22nd January is always a celebration at Hands. This special day marks the end of our January bike rides and it doesn't disappoint. There's a slight hill to contend with as we warm our legs up in the morning but then it's downhill to Baan Tharn Namchai where the kids wait with excitement for the group to ride in. It's always a rollercoaster of emotions as we finish our journey together. Whether our riders have travelled 800km or 1600km, our bike rides are an incredible achiev...ement and an amazing shared experience that is talked about long after we get out of the saddle. We arrive in Thailand as strangers, we form close friendships along the way, and we leave Thailand as family. We laugh, we cry, we dance together. It really is an experience you have to experience. To all of our riders past and present, to all of our community who support us on this journey, we thank you. This year presents another tough year as we face the international border restrictions but together we will get through this and we look forward to being back on the bikes soon. These rides are a 12 month journey with the training and the fundraising but the hard work is all worth it when you hear the cheers from the kids as you ride in.
