19.01.2022 Our motto, do it right the first time Our customer has hard wood decking, front and back, and is about 4-5 years old. Fixed by plastic locator/retainer lugs.... There's a major PROBLEM!! All the lugs and decking have started to separate and lift!! Our choice and advice to our customer - Drill, counter sink and screw the decking down That's what we have started to do, front deck srewed and brush washed No pressure washing here, our customer likes the natural look

15.01.2022 Some things puzzle US!! Out and about today, and by looking through the pictures you might be able to notice a few issues here Anyway - ... Our customer's wooden siding was starting to lift and flex Further inspection it was discovered, the bottom edge was rotting away Our suggestion was to clean and dig away the earth, use 150 x 25mm treated pine edging to protect the siding At the front of the house, we added old hardwood timber to fill the gap, more protection The treated timber is just sitting there, and only held by the earth, the timber siding has the ability to move in weather conditions The benefit to our customer, the bottom edge of the siding will not be constantly damp, rot further from being wet/damp and the siding can move freely another job sorted another happy customer yes we can You need a hand, go on get in touch www.mateyouneedahand.com.au
