20.01.2022 I handwrote this to support all those teachers out there working extra hard at the moment. The digital watercolour brush I made (in Procreate) to colour this is fascinating - I actually followed a tutorial to make this one (very different to the one I created myself). The instructions are literally 2 pages of numbers, a science in itself, a GREAT STEAM project simply in creating such brushes. 15.01.2022 A relatively quick morning Neurographic style art. A type of mindlefullness drawing. It’s been a while since I used this style, but I’ve seen it come up quite a bit with so much online teaching going on. Much quicker on procreate. This was a very simple one, the detailed designs can be very complicated - but awesome. Every corner (where 2 black lines meet) should be rounded. Almost looks like a black glue drawing. Usually the blocks are shaded in graduating tones.

12.01.2022 For me, today was the kind of day when you just wait for tomorrow. Most of this was drawn whilst in the hospital emergency waiting room - nothing serious; I managed to muck up my knee on a run...again I practised my script hand lettering last night, and am relatively happy with the outcome today. I was going to make this all fancy, but after letting it sit around for a week I figured it was better to just leave plain and let it speak for itself. I think I’m a bit slow at the old hand lettering, and accepted that I’m in control of what I draw, so when I feel it’s time to move on...it is.
