08.01.2022 This morning my daughter Gracie found a little bee. Initially we thought it was dead. At a closer inspection (when you have a 3 year old close inspections are a necessity ) we noticed it was alive but couldn’t hold its own weight, all that was moving was one of his antennae. Thinking he must have been cold and hungry we took him inside and mixed up some honey and water. I covered a paint brush in the liquid and spread a small amount on his face. Hour buy hour he has picked up strength. He is now able to hold his weight and feed on his own. Poor little bloke, it’ll be a happy moment when he flies away! Remember Bees are so important in our food production, it really is so important to take care of them.
