12.01.2022 Came across this quote this morning from one of my fave pages @projecthappiness_org . I’m pretty sure this will speak to a lot of people right now... We can often get caught up in the should’s in life. ... I should have a certain job, income , relationship. title/position, achieved a certain goal by now...... We so easily fall into the dangerous trap of comparing our own life’s to others. We fear we are behind or not on track to where we should be at a certain time in our lives. It is dangerous as these thoughts and beliefs take us even further from our fulfilment and happiness in life. Comparison is the thief of Joy. Let’s commit to ourselves to flip the thought and rewrite the story. We are not behind anyone. We are simply on a different path. Our own path. At our own pace. Whether it’s in your career, your child’s progress , your finances, your relationships. Focus on your own progress. Focus on your own growth. Focus on your own lessons. Be grateful for what you have on your own path, not others paths, you’re not going that way! This moment now is not a dress rehearsal for your life. This is it. Be kind to yourself. Be grateful.
