This series is a collaboration between Fusion Boutique Presents and Blackheath Bar and Bistro and showcases a terrific range of touring artists in a relaxed, family friendly venue and is FREE ENTRY. JOHN KENNEDY of John Kennedy's 68 Comeback Special will be back in person again to perform songs from across his career at this upcoming Blackheath solo show. Audiences can expect great music and many humorous stories relating to these songs. He carves out contemporary Australian music and perfectly matches gentle simmering with the raw honesty of reflective coming-of-age lyrics. Slinging a small-but-powerful arsenal of instruments, CJ Stranger crafts his distinctive sound using an old weathered resonator, a weird vintage organ, and his beloved purple guit...ar Frankenstein-ed out of discarded bits and pieces. This array of re-purposed musical antiques allows CJ Stranger to sculpt a vivid and honest landscape for his musings. These days based in the Blue Mountains while regularly Sydney-side, CJs 2016 debut album established his prowess as a singer, songwriter and guitar player, but it was a different kind of animal. CJ Stranger is an exaggerated and more nuanced side of Henderson, brought forth by exploring this new artistic persona. She's been back in her hometown of Darwin and the new album is described as 'a dreamy collection of deeply personal, narrative driven songs glimmer with nods to Sade, Bic Runga and Norah Jones while leaning back into the assuredness of Flanagan’s characteristically unhurried, deft vocal delivery and the earthen textures of producer Sarah Belkner’s expertly arranged strings.'

04.01.2022 More good news from Fusion Boutique: Due to the overwhelming popularity of the first live streaming series a 2nd series of the Love Local Live streaming project has been approved. This live stream series showcased some of our terrific and talented local musicians performing at local recording and rehearsal venue Shelter Studio, and the sound and visual aspects were top class. The new streaming series will be launching Thursday 15th October from 7:30-8:30pm and running for ...5 consecutive weeks. More information, including the announcement of the program, will be available soon.
