25.01.2022 The Human Connection Movement Podcast is LIVE! You can listen to it on Apple Podcasts or Spotify - the links are below. The Human Connection movement podcast explores how the challenges we experience within our lives are guiding us towards embracing our highest potential.... In this opening episode, I describe the purpose of the podcast, and take you on a journey into how The Human Connection Movement came into existence. I also delve into some of the pain points and obstacles I personally experienced, and what I had to overcome in order to continuously show up in the world not just as a leader, but more importantly as a human. It’s been a very healing experience to be able to connect and hold space for our podcast guests in this intimate 1 on 1 format. What I’ve learned leading up this launch is that only when I am able to get out of my own way, am I able to fully receive what is present in each moment. 23.01.2022 I gave a talk at The Embodiment Conference on Transcending Language for a more connected world. One of the biggest challenges we're currently facing is our inability to communicate effectively with each other. This isn't about just going non-verbal, but it's about getting in touch with the undercurrent, the unspoken gravity that shapes our mind and bodies so that when we do converse with each other to resolve challenging or complex situations, we are aligned and connected to what are communicating with each other.

23.01.2022 "Life will initiate us whether we like it or not and I think that’s the real key, how will we meet that initiation, as a society we are entering a global initiation and whether we like it or not it's coming for us and it's important we prepare for it." In this episode I connect with Velan Cadden, Co-Founder of Sacred Seed. We talk about his path of initiation, the opportunity to grow within our relationships, and how to speak the language of the body to create optimal vitalit...Continue reading

10.01.2022 New Podcast episode with Fritizi Horstman on Healing Trauma and Transforming Prisons Into Healing Centre’s. Service is alchemy, when you stop thinking about yourself and you look at what else is going on, there’s a major shift that happens. In this episode I connect with Fritzi Horstman, a Grammy award winning producer and Founder of The Compassion Prison Project.... We talk about how Fritzi’s life changed when she received an invitation to visit a prison, leading her to transition from working in the film industry to prisons. It was Fritzi’s own childhood trauma which helped shape the conception of The Compassion Prison Project, which is a central theme within our podcast where we explore how the biggest challenges we experience within our lives are guiding us to embracing our highest potential. Over the course of several months in 2019-2020, Fritzi and a dedicated team of facilitators and volunteers partnered with the men who were incarcerated at a Kern Valley State Prison (KVSP), a maximum-security prison in Southern California. Together, they created powerful tools for addressing and healing from childhood trauma. My vision is that all prisons in the United States will become healing centres, and I wake up every morning thinking how I can make that happen. During 2019, the men at KVSP and CPP explored mindfulness, meditation and the power of intention. Understanding the shame that comes with the dehumanization of child abuse and being incarcerated, the men found ways to make amends to themselves, the people they’ve harmed and their community. They learned what it means to have deeper compassion and belonging through recognizing our shared humanity. Fritzi and i delve deep into how healing her own trauma opened the door to her developing the drive to bring this awareness to the men and women living in prisons. This is a powerful conversation which is both deeply vulnerable and loving, carried forth by a front-line warrior who is embodying what it means to truly be love. "If you study prison populations as I have, you see a common preponderance of childhood trauma and mental illness. The two go together. So a lot of the people are being punished for being mentally ill and they are mentally ill because they were traumatized as kids. So what we have in prisons are the most traumatized people in our society." - Dr. Gabor Mate.

03.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW in some countries there are libraries where you can borrow a person, instead of a book, in order to sit and listen to their story. Launched i...n Denmark this innovative and brilliant project is a bookstore of human beings. You can borrow a person for half an hour and hear their story. The initiative soon spread to other places, thanks to The Human Library. The living library gives readers the opportunity to connect with people they would not usually have the opportunity of meeting. The initiative promotes dialogue, reduces prejudices, breaks stereotypes and promotes understanding between people of different ages, sex, lifestyles and cultural background. The organization is currently active in fifty countries and some libraries. Some are permanent such as those in South Korea and Tasmania, are permanent - while others are only temporarily set up. Isn’t that a wonderful idea!

02.01.2022 "Love is the Earthquake that shakes everything that you think you are, to give you the profound opportunity to meet who you really are." In this episode I connect with Nicole Gibson, the Founder and CEO of Love Out Loud and former Commonwealth Mental Health Commissioner of Australia. In order for Nicole to step into a leadership role within our country, she was initiated through some major challenges which she overcame by being able fully meet herself from within.... Nicole compassionately expresses how she traveled towards the depths and the edges of self hate, and there within the darkness, she found her greatest gift. It was through the contrast of being able to fully feel and experience this darkness that she was able to witness a sparkle of light within, a love that is always inside of us, and she realised all she needed to do was meet it. Nicole speaks of how growing up she felt misunderstood by her family, but it was through that misunderstanding that she found edges of herself that allowed her to discover who she truly was. She talks about how as a teenager she travelled across Australia connecting with schools within remote communities, listening and connecting to children by creating a safe space for them to be seen, heard, valued and understood. We talk about how life is not necessarily about learning new practises or personal development techniques, but rather the unlearning of the beliefs and conditioning that have limited our ability to step into our highest expression of truth. We go deep into how love is an actionable skill set that can be taught, applied and cultivated in each moment, through each person and recognising it's true power to transform, heal and create our lives. "Life is so loving, that it will give you unconditionally everything that you ask for, we just don't think to look outside the box." - Nicole Gibson

01.01.2022 Next Eye Gazing workshop is on the 27th of February in the Byron shire.
