15.01.2022 We celebrated Zoe’s birthday today with a lovely cake at The Hand Crafted Studio. It was great to see. Our students worked on their own mosaic and pottery projects and Tanya demonstrated pulling pottery handles. ‘You have to be gentle’ was the take away. Happy Birthday Zoe! We hope you had a great day x

15.01.2022 After much thought I will be closing the doors to @the hand crafted studio for the foreseeable future. I will let you all know when we are able to come back to the studio. I will still be selling clay and glazes on an appointment only arrangement and if you are interested in hiring one of the wheels please contact me. Firings will also continue whenever I have a full kiln. Drop off is by appointment. I have done a glaze and bisc firing over the weekend and am happy to make arrangements for you to pick everything up. I hope you all stay safe and well while we self isolate. I will miss you all. 13.01.2022 Good Evening Everyone, with stage 4 restrictions having been announced the Studio will be closed until next term. All going well we might be able to come back then!!!! Here are a couple of photos of things that I have been doing since lockdown started at the end of March. In our garden we have gone crazy and have done so much and photos of the masks that I made. Feel free to post something that you have been doing.... Missing you all. Can wait to hear all of your stories when we are back.

13.01.2022 Last Friday, Tanya demonstrated Lithography on clay. It is where she printed patterns onto clay. They could have been printed on any shaped vessel but tiles were chosen for the demonstration. It was really interesting and really inspiring. 12.01.2022 Having a wonderful day at The Lost Trades Fair. So many crafty things to see and do. I was gifted a basket from East Arnhemland and I got to meet the lady who made my basket. Made my day!! Still more to see.
