05.01.2022 If you don’t do the deeper work, you may struggle to lose weight... #truthbomb Even if you do eat less, long-term weight loss is unlikely unless you address the mental aspect. This is why so many ‘diets’ fail they focus on WHAT you’re putting in your mouth without understanding WHY you’re putting it in your mouth! Your ‘bad food habits’ are probably not the cause of your weight issues. They are a symptom of what the actual problem is. Instead of facing your stuff your emo...tions and your thoughts you choose to stuff your face. You can *release* weight if that’s truly what you want to do. But if you want to go about it the smart way, you want to look into the mindset of successful weight loss, rather than just cutting calories and restricting foods. Comment below if you agree!! 02.01.2022 Are you unable to control yourself around particular foods? Many of us struggle when it comes to food for a variety of reasons. Food might be an issue when you’re stressed, or emotional, or wanting to escape from something. But what if you could take back that power around food for good!?... Well, to start off with, here are my 3 ingredients: 1 - Face your stuff, don't stuff your face - start by being aware of how you feel before, during and after eating. Did you choose a particular food to ‘fix’ a negative feeling? What else could you do instead? And if you did eat whatever you wanted, did you experience guilt afterwards? Or did you feel the same throughout the process? 2 - Take Action - how about one small change or self-care action a week (that has nothing to do with food)? Something simple such as doing your gratitudes everyday, or upping your water intake 3 - Focus on what you want - because we know the unconscious mind doesn’t process negatives! So if you ‘don’t want to eat the chocolate’, what do you want instead? And by all means, if you WANT the chocolate, enjoy it. But no guilt or shame afterwards, ok? Simply by going through my 3 ingredients for change, you’ll start taking back your power. Because you ARE in control! Comment below what you’ll do differently starting now!
