07.01.2022 The windowpane test is one of the best ways to tell if you have sufficiently kneaded your dough! To do this, simply take a small ball of your dough and stretch out a square between your index fingers and thumbs. If the dough become stretched and translucent but does not break this means the gluten has been well developed. If the dough breaks, continue to knead for a few more minutes and re-perform the windowpane test. Happy Baking!
