25.01.2022 I will be there surgically sexing and microchipping birds if anyone is interested. I will also be performing faecal and health checks on new birds. Come along and have a look at the wide range of birds and bird products on sale and support the Goulburn Valley Branch of the Avicultural Society of Australia.

08.01.2022 What a great afternoon. Managed to catch up with a flock of 25 "Graptogyne" Red-tailed Black Cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus banksia graptogyne) in the Lower Glenelg National Park. Despite having to follow them for 5 km along several roads they landed behind a farm near the forestry area. The light was poor but my wife Jo did an excellent job in getting a few decent shots - We got to see a flock of these endangered beauties... what a buzz!!

Come and learn, meet like-minded people and get to see what's going on behind the scenes at Healesville Sanctuary where such rarities as Orange bellied Parrots and Helmeted Honeyeaters are kept and bred.
