21.01.2022 WHO IS MAKING THEIR HEALTH A PRIORITY IN 2021? Where you are a year from now is a reflection of the choices you choose to make RIGHT NOW! Don't make a New Years Resolution.. I've made them over the years and it lasts about 2 weeks.. lol... You health should be your number one priority.. so my advice is to focus on how to be the healthiest version of yourself. That means what you put into your mouth (your diet), what you listen to, who you surround yourself with (socialise with) and moving your body (exercise). All these things make up good health. 10 Tips for being healthy: 1. Nourish your body with good food. 2. Drink lots of water 2-3L per day. 3. Remove toxic people from your life, stop engaging and draining your energy! 4. Stop using toxic products, around the house and on yourself. 5. Move your body, whatever you enjoy, whether it's walking swimming, hiking, sports, something everyday! 6. Get enough sleep! 7. Add supplements to your diet. 8. Personal development, either meditate or listen to something that will inspire you every day! Show Gratitude.. recognise all the amazing things you have in your life every day, spend a few minutes everyday. 9. Set goals, and create a strategy on how to reach them, every day look at how you can get closer to reaching them, by what you do today! 10. Get your gut health balanced. Did you know that your gut health affects how your skin looks and also affects your mood and mental health? Whether you need us to recommend some amazing products to help or even if you don’t have any health concerns and just want to feel amazing. Ask how we can help you?

14.01.2022 Heading into a healthier new year? Avoid these 6 bedtime temptations. Night time munchies happen to the best of us, and sometimes, a late-night meal is the only cure. But if you're gonna wander through the kitchen or scroll through your fav delivery app, you might want to avoid the following bites. According to the pros, these are some of the unhealthiest late-night snacks you can eat before hitting the hay:... FRIED FOODS Craving loaded French fries? Hold that thought... Greasy, fatty foods take longer to digest, so eating them close to bedtime can lead to bloating and cramping and nightmares. They also promote inflammation. SPICY FOODS Sorry, all you "Hot Cheetos" fans. Eating spicy foods (including hot sauce) late at night can cause digestive irritation, especially if you aren't used to eating them. Can also cause acid reflux which can keep you up for hours PASTRIES Sweets like doughnuts and biscuits are packed with processed sugar, which can lead to inflammation and poor digestion. The excess sugar will also make it hard to slip into a slumber - let alone let you stay asleep. SUGARY CEREALS Similarly, sugary cereal may be a quick fix, but their high sugar content can disrupt your sleep. The sweetness will also make you want more, which can lead to overconsumption. CAFFEINATED FOODS Heads up: Caffeine might be hiding in your go to snack. Products like Kombucha, ice cream, chocolate desserts and protein bars may have hidden sources. RED MEAT Due to its high protein and fat content, red meat can take a while to completely digest. Eating a large serving - like, say a ginormous burger - can make it hard to have a good nights rest. If you do snack on red meat, aim for smaller portions and leaner cuts!

12.01.2022 I set goals.. I don't make New Year's Resolutions! I am extremely goal oriented and each year I revisit my short and long term (more than 1year) goals and pla...n what I need to do in this new year to achieve them or get closer to them. Health was my main goal last year. It's still my main focus this year. I have a detailed plan on what I need to do and how I will achieve my weight goal and then my maintenance goals. We have goals together as a couple and individual goals. Which is why a New Year's Resolution is not needed. Mel See more
