A virtual summit in the morning and luncheon @nicandkolo with 50 amazing people! My heart is full Thank you to everyone who came today to help celebrate and empower women. 20.01.2022 I am so excited to be a WA finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards for my company @synxsole It hasn’t always been an easy ride, but I was once told that nothing in life worth having comes easy and as I stand here reflecting on my journey which started 8 years ago with two podiatrists, a crazy idea to design our own insoles (the ones in my hands) and now a fast growing company creating so many different footcare products to help keep people on their feet and pain free it proves that dreams really do come true The key is to know your market and do the research, set your goals, be brave, take risks and be consistent! Also find the best kick-ass team around as you can’t do this alone #synxsole

I am still pinching myself that I won the First Amongst Equals title and a place in the class of 2020 for WA Congrats to all the finalists and winners It was such a special night to come together and celebrate West Australian business and leadership and see so many incredible people doing amazing things. After the year we’ve all had it was so nice to get dressed up again too ... I would like to thank my Mum and Dad, husband, kids and mum in law who have supported and encouraged me over what has been a decade of highs and lows and my gorgeous sisters, girlfriends and family because without your love and support I would have gone crazy Biggest shout out to my shark @abanks_88 and investors, thank you for believing in my vision and backing me all the way. 10.01.2022 I am so excited to be a AusMumpreneur of the Year Finalist along side so many incredible business women and mums in Australia Listening to all the stories during the online festival this past couple of days and meeting so many brave, powerful, kind and generous women has warmed my heart The pandemic might have taken the physical event away but Peace, Katy and team, you’ve done so well bringing this digital event together Being a mum and growing a business is tough and definitely has its challenges but it also has some pretty amazing rewards too and the juggle and struggle is worth it when you get to the other side and see how far you’ve come

07.01.2022 We finally found GF donuts @gfreedonutsperth last night My daughter got to taste one for the first time in 5 years #happydays and the verdict was #amazeballs As a parent I can’t express how hard it is to watch your child miss out on tasting so many foods and even when we do find GF donuts they are generally vegan/healthy options and lack the same guilty pleasures of a real donut. Whilst I love all those healthy options most of the time just sometimes it’s nice to find the real thing These were incredible so thank you @gfreedonutsperth for making my girls week #glutenfreedonuts #glutenfree #celiackids #coeliackids @ City of Perth
