24.01.2022 It's wet. It's wild. And it's PERFECT weather for hitting the trail and coming home soaked and ready for a hot chocolate. Happy hiking.

18.01.2022 Every man and his dog out in Wungong Regional today, and why not enjoy this beautiful break in the weather! Where did you get out to today?

18.01.2022 So who's going out this week? I was contemplating Mt Cooke tomorrow... not sure if I'm that game... Weak? Hh.

12.01.2022 It's getting warming in the coming weeks and I have a question; what water bottles is everyone using? Mine have all seen better days and it's time for an upgrade. Do people prefer stainless steel, silicone, plastic? What about those fancy collapsible -anyone tried them? Help!? Thanks Hh.

07.01.2022 Out at Macora Trail, Byford this morning before the rain. A nice 2.5km loop trail offering stair climbs, some decent inclines/declines and views from Kwinana to the City. Taking a right at the water tower onto the 4WD tracks you can loop back, staying on the scarp rather than walking back on the road as Trails WA suggests. Good training track if you're looking to condition for hill climbs. Hh.

04.01.2022 ... I'll just leave this here.

03.01.2022 I'm super excited to announce the release of my new book "On the Trail with Boots McFarland-Vol 1"!!! For years people have been wondering if I'd ever create a... Boots book. As much as I've wanted to, I admit I've been lazy/intimidated by the work involved. I needed a little extra motivation. So I told myself, "Self, you can have that dream bike you've had your eye on, if you complete and release a Boots cartoon book." So here it is and I've got my sweet new ride too. ENJOY! -Geolyn See more

02.01.2022 Nice morning for a little walk around the Channel 10 tower in Kalamunda. This easy 5km loop walk explores the bush at the corner of Pomeroy Rd and Canning Hwy. Truthfully, not that much to see once you pass the tower but a nice walk if you're just out for a little fresh air. Hh.
