21.01.2022 A father is neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way. Happy Father's day.

19.01.2022 The advice from the Department of Health and Human Services that only essential visitors should attend aged care homes remains in place. Accordingly, TLC is continuing to restrict visits to all of our aged care homes to ONE REGISTERED CARER PER DAY FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 HOURS, unless agreed with the General Manager of the home in advance of your visit. If a residents has more than one registered carer, they can visit on alternate days, but not on the same day. All residents must... also remain within TLC homes; all scenic bus tours and external outings with family and friends, including overnight stays, cannot be permitted. Registered carers will be required to present their photo ID card to staff on entering and exiting TLC homes, and complete our entry screening protocols. If you do not have a photo ID card, please request one at reception between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Any registered carer who has visited an identified area of public exposure in Victoria, New South Wales or Queensland should follow testing and isolation advice, and not visit an aged care home under any circumstances. Please refer to the Department of Health and Human Services website for daily updates. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case, you will also not be permitted to enter a TLC home. If you are a registered carer visiting a resident, please ensure you wear a fitted face mask at all times. Please ensure that you share this information with family and friends who may be planning to visit our homes, as anyone identified as not meeting TLC’s COVID-19 protocols will be asked to leave the premises. We continue to assess the risk of community transmission in Victoria, and advise you if there are any changes to the directives for visiting aged care homes in Victoria. TLC homes remain free of COVID-19, thanks to the cooperation and support of our visitors, residents and staff. We thank you for your understanding, and hope to welcome all visitors back into our homes in the near future.

16.01.2022 It was a Mad Hatters Tea Party at The Heights, a very fun afternoon had by all. "Do you think I've gone around the bend?" "I'm afraid so. You're mad, bonkers, completely off your head. But I'll tell you a secret, all the best people are." - Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland.

13.01.2022 "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." Happy Valentine's Day to all our residents, family & friends, patients, students and team TLC!

13.01.2022 Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November in most countries to recall the end of hostilities of First World War on that date, in 1918. It honours the sacrifice and loss of those who have served during wartime to defend our freedom and democracy. Many of our residents at TLC Aged Care either served or have family and friends who have served. The story of Remembrance Day is one of service and care for each other. It is this story with which the TLC community connects to the... ethos and meaning of Remembrance Day through our Mission and Values. This has been epitomised throughout this year as we have worked tirelessly to keep our residents, patients and each other safe and well. Lest We Forget.

13.01.2022 Ladies had a magnificent high tea at The Heights, chatting and sipping away on champagne or tea. The chef prepared some delicious desserts and savouries that looked delectable and went down a treat.
