25.01.2022 We soaked up this mornings sunshine on @rottnestislandwa at the West End and along the northern beaches today until the rain came in... but worth every drop of water! 25.01.2022 PARUNA Dont let the beautiful walkways and dainty wildflowers fool you... the trails through Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary are much more than that... we recorded 220 flights of stairs today! Worth every step.

02.01.2022 Welcome to the team! We are so stoke to be welcoming our new operations manager / hike leader / human legend to The Hike Collective. Kelly joined us as a hike leader in September, and will be in the office from October to bring all the trail goodness your way over summer and into 2021! If you have been lucky enough to meet Kelly on the trails so far, you will agree with me when I say she is one pretty epic person, and we are SO excited to have her on board!
01.01.2022 Do you absolutely love hiking, and meeting new people, and want to do it as part of the most amazing hiker team in the WORLD!? ( Big claims, we know, but it is a pretty awesome group of people here at THC!) Well, Our summer season is almost here, and now is the time to join our support hike guide team if you tick all of the following boxes: 1. LOVE hiking. ... 2. Have a passion for sharing the WA Bush and trails with beginners, dreamers, explorers and adventurers with a smile on your dial ( How could you not be smiling when hiking in WA!) 3. Keen to hike as a support lead to our hike guides at least once a month ( theres no upper limit, so if you want to hike every day, you can do that too!) 4. Able to get first aid certificate If this sounds like you, then please get in touch! This is a volunteer position, however it comes with free tickets to our tours (and SO MANY more perks!!), and you will be first on the list when a senior hike guide position opens up if that is of interest to you as a career path. (with the growth we are currently experiencing, this is likely to open up by April 2021, so consider the summer your perfect intro to hike guiding! 01.01.2022 TOURISTS Are you one? If you have been away from home for more than 4 hours exploring, then the answer is yes! Even while we cant go anywhere but our own state, you are still given the opportunity to be a tourist. If you travel a round distance of at least 50 kilometres, and are away from home for at least four hours, you are considered a local tourist which is so exciting, isnt it? So pull out that camera, chuck on your hat and backpack, and be a tourist this weekend.... Same rules apply to being somewhere overseas: cheesy selfies mandatory experience something unfamiliar explore somewhere for the first time or the 100th time leave with a full cup (maybe its your happiness cup, maybe its your wine glass! ) See more
