I just wanted to update you all that it is growing well :) I also wanted to update everyone that I have disc...overed Cicadas are gluten free and high on protein and are a healthy snack ..surprisingly an large a ray of recipes are available online...dishes are in ranges of roasted, candied, surprisingly stunning Vietnamese styled recipes and 2 cocktails containing vodka, Campari ,vermouth ,orange juice. If you wish you can even make cupcakes...best time to harvest is early AM... sounds good aye! (have a nutty taste) Recipes are in a cook book called cicada-licious. 02.01.2022 Love getting these reviews!! wallaroowarriors 1 Reviewed 4 days ago ... via mobile 1 night getaway My partner and I decided to get away from the city for a night so booked a cabin at the Lodge for Saturday 18th November, it can sometimes be hard to find places that accept animals as we travel with our Chihuahua and Mini Foxie but Hill End Lodge was so accommodating for us to have them with us in the cabin. The town that the lodge is in Hill End is one of the most beautiful untouched places in Australia we saw wild Kangaroos, Wombats, Goats, Koalas, Deers and an array of beautiful parrots. The lodge itself is set on many acres and has an abundance of wildlife roaming around the property. We were met by John on arrival with a big smile and he showed us where we were staying and invited us to the restaurant for dinner. Well lets just say we were not disappointed with the meals, I had the pork belly and my partner had the lamb shanks, they were devine and the meals were definitely country sized servings (in other words huuuuge). They have a great selection of local wines and John often came to the table to have a chat and to charm us with his country hospitality. We will be back for sure, next time for a bit longer and we want to bring some friends so they can experience the magic of Hill End Lodge for themselves.
