11.01.2022 On the weekend we gathered at Eagle’s Nest on Boonwurrung Land (the incredibly beautiful land on which we’re lucky enough to host our festivals) and stood in solidarity with Black, Indigenous and People of Colour as part of Surfers for Climate and Black Girls Surf worldwide action. It was powerful, peaceful and important and a sign of a greater commitment from all who were there (including us) to be better and further acknowledge our role in contributing to a more equitable ...world, both locally and globally. Massive thanks and respect to all involved and special thanks to Steve Ulula Parker for the Welcome to Country & smoking ceremony, Sonia Weston for the powerful words and everyone who helped make it happen. 10.01.2022 Friends! We just wanted to take moment to check-in with you all and acknowledge how crazy things are right now. We’re thinking of you, we’re feeling for you, and we hope that you’re somehow finding positives amongst it all. Whilst this is an incredibly challenging time for so many people we hope that we can all keep-on-keeping-on by supporting each other and being the best versions of ourselves we can be. That’s what we’re doing. Please keep on grooving and dancing however you can (even in social isolation! ) and stay safe out there. Sending love and good vibes to you all

03.01.2022 This exact date 12 years ago a small group of close friends (and their close friends) had a certain little music party on a Hill for the very first first time...

02.01.2022 It’s with great excitement and eager anticipation that we can announce that The Hills Are Alive will be taking over the reigns of Inverloch Sounds of Summer! To help make Sounds of Summer even better, we’ve just launched a public survey for people to tell us what you’ve loved most about the event in the past and how you think it could be made even better in the future. Please complete the survey here to help make the event as great as it can be and go into the running to ...win a free double pass! https://www.inverlochsoundsofsummer.com.au/ A note on Covid-related restrictions: We’re crossing our fingers that NYE on the Hill, Ocean Sounds Festival and Inverloch Sounds of Summer will all be able to go ahead at the end of the year as planned and we're doing everything in our power to make that happen. That said, safety is our number one priority and if they are unable to happen this year we will look to postpone them to another date in 2021 by Phoebe Honey & Elly Polleti
