24.01.2022 SEPTEMBER TERTULIA Sally Baker, a member of our Society, will be our Speaker for our September tertulia. Her My talk is about her Spanish grandmothers life and death with special focus on the changes in the life of Spanish women between 1839 and 1939. This is an extract from her thesis submitted for the degree of Master of Arts at Monash University - Spanish and Latin American Studies Program. PLEASE NOTE: The Committee policy requires all tertulia bookings to be paid for ...prior to our booking deadline. Over the last few months this policy has not been adhered to and we need to re-introduce it: it is important for both planning and catering purposes. If circumstances make this difficult please contact either Elvira or Alan (contact numbers below) or email us and the executive team can approve an exception.
