21.01.2022 Children are naturally curious about their world and enjoy exploring their surroundings. Because of their inquiring minds, children are eager to know why things are the way they are and will ask many questions about their immediate environment. Recently the pre-kinder children have been asking questions about nature and bugs. Questions such as "I wonder what is under the rocks?" "What is that bird eating?" "Does that flower smell?" Childhood is the time to encourage and nurture early interests in nature. She currently holds her diploma in childrens services and has been in the industry for about 14 years. Natalies main role is assisting floater. A very important role within the centre as Natalie knows all the children and their individual routines, it helps that Natalie finds childcare rewarding and enjoys watching the children grow and learn and creating trusting relationships wi...th each individual child. The children participated in many science experiments throughout the week, but the one we all loved the most was Volcano making. For children of all ages, the benefits are enormous. Caring for a pet instills respect for life and an awareness of the needs of others as well as giving children an understanding of how their behavior can affect others. We run many programs throughout the year were the children have opportunities to come close and personal with a variety of animals and learn about caring for them. 13.01.2022 I would like to introduce you all to Jenny, our Lead Educator in the nursery room Jenny has been in the early childhood sector for over a year now, after graduating from a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from RMIT University. She discovered her passion of teaching and child-care during her placements, Jenny found that it is a challenging industry but likes to challenge herself continuously. Jennys passion is to be an educator that advocates for high quality education and being able to be part of a childs important growing years is really rewarding for her.
