14.01.2022 The Holy Grail and the Afl Supercoach Cup will sit side by side in the Savz FC trophy cabinet for the next month, until the new and current holder of the grail arrives in Australia. These 2 trophies may never cross paths again!!

11.01.2022 Well as we stumble in to the New Year, and skip past the halfway mark of the season, things are starting to become a little clearer in 'The Holy Grail'. So we run the rule over the season so far. A few big guns have fallen by the way side this year, with previous double champ Savz FC, languishing mid table. Also joining him is the ever confident and vocal G-Train, who is struggling to get players on the field let alone enough points for win! And Tottenham Hotbeans in a relega...tion battle!! Two of the newcomers have taken the comp by storm this season. The previous long time leader Toro Torres has now come back to earth with a crash, finding himself 6th, and in a congested mid table battle where only 4 points separates 8 positions. Which left Molby to Rush to stake his claim as the favourite, pushing 5 points clear at the top from the reigning champ, Lokomotiv. The English contingent are scattered throughout the table, obviously a bit shell shocked by what's happened to their cricketers! So seem to be struggling to put together a title charge between them. Notable mention would have to go to Meme, with the ever present basement dweller knocking off a few big guns this season, including the reigning champ. Could this season be a turning point in their long term fortunes?! And also beware of the Bush! A slow start by the evergreen Bushy FC, but something seems to have woken this giant of 'The Holy Grail', and he is now on a 6-0 run. His total points showing him in a false position. A clear top 4 has emerged 6 points clear, with Burgs, Studs Up and Lokomotiv pushing Molby to Rush. But still too early to rule out a late charge from a mid table stallion, such as a Smallwood FC, Smoking Aces or Bayer putting together a run in the back half of the season. Injuries, suspensions and blown trades will still have a lot to say in this title race! Good luck Grail hunters, and congrats on a cracking season so far!
