22.01.2022 I hope you had a great Sunday. I spent the afternoon gardening. Inspired by all the beautiful hanging baskets you see in London and throughout the UK, I bought some hanging baskets and trailing plants to try and recreate it in my own backyard. 21.01.2022 Book update.... I’ve been trying to read more books this year, so I thought I’d share what I’ve finished reading lately... Where The Crawdads Sing, All the Light We Cannot See, Boy Swallows Universe, Normal People and The Lost Man. I enjoyed all these books and could not put them down once I started, especially the first two. Thanks for all the recommendations I received to read them. So I’ve got a few new books on my list I want to read including, My Brilliant Friend, Beco...ming and City of Girls. Have you read any good books lately that I should add to this list? Cath has completely transformed her original dark timber kitchen to this beautiful light and airy kitchen. I especially love the gas strut window and the bench tops. 02.01.2022 Throwback to when I had these beautiful peonies in my home. They’re one of my favourite flowers, along with hydrangeas, camellias and gardenias. Do you have a favourite flower?

02.01.2022 The fiddle leaf fig in this corner has now been replaced by a much healthier and lush looking fiddle . This one is still surviving (just). I do love the look of a fig, but my favourite indoor plants for being hardy and easy to grow are: devils ivy, spider plant, monstera deliciosa and the Zanzibar gem. Do you own any of these? Do you have any favourites to add to this list?
