All we ask is that you remain seated while drinking and eating, adhere to all instructions from staff and practise good hygiene throughout the Owl. We have plenty of chairs available but encourage bookings for groups of 4 or more people. As always if you are feeling unwell, please stay at home and get tested, our staff will do the same. This gin comes all the way from Quebec in Canada and is distilled using locally harvested laminaria seaweed (also called Kombu) and then barrel-aged for more than 1 year in ex-whisky casks. 11.01.2022 Get your heart racing with our Gin of the Week. @smithsrockgin A local artistic creation from Eden Valley. 2-4-1 during The Owl Happy Hour 7-8pm until Saturday 22 February. For those playing at home, or for quiz night random trivia... ... The spirit for @smithrockgin is made from a single, very slow distillation of an Eden Valley Riesling wine using a copper pot still. Rocks from Eden Valley were thrown into the ferment tank, to impart minerality and texture into the base wine.
