25.01.2022 One of the benefits of still having to work from home is that I get to see a lot more people on weekdays enjoying The Hulk - Evatt Street Library and yesterday was the perfect example. I looked out the window and saw a family sitting on the grass next to The Hulk reading some books to their children and taking some HULKIES. I went out to say hello and we got chatting and I found out this was their first visit to The Hulk. They had heard about The Hulk via the Meet & Move act...ive playgroup for mums and bubs/toddlers. It seems that both The Hulk and Evatts Super Little Street Library - ESLSL are well known landmarks on the Meet & Move walking route through Evatt so this family had to come and check them out. Meet and Move visited Superman and The Hulk & found lots of treasures for an afternoon of reading. Thank you. This is the first time we have seen this and I think it’s really cool. ... 21.01.2022 It’s always interesting to see what gets placed in The Hulk. Lately we’ve received DVDs, little storage boxes, a Christmas-themed pet tshirt, The Hunger Games trilogy and a stack of bookmarks.

16.01.2022 After all the rain last weekend a sinkhole opened up under The Hulk. We’ve relocated it slightly while the hole is being fixed.

10.01.2022 Lots has been happening at Ruby's Cafe and Bar in Evatt. There’s a new look, new coffee, new menu and very excitingly they’ve added a community library. Get along and check out all they have to offer.
10.01.2022 It's school holidays and The Hulk - Evatt Street Library is full of books and DVDs. So if you're looking for something to do with the kids come along and check out what's on offer. Gnome Your Neighbourhood also starts on Monday so good luck hunting for gnomes. We'd love to see who is the first to take a HULKIE with The Hulk and his new mate. #CBRGnomeYourNeighbourhood
09.01.2022 We love seeing the range of books plus a few other random items that make their way into The Hulk - Evatt Street Library. The last week has seen an influx of them and the library was refreshed earlier today. One of our favourite books for all the parents out there who struggle to get their darling little angel to go to sleep has also reappeared. 08.01.2022 For all the home cooks out there check out two cookbooks that landed in The Hulk. One is from Maggie Beer and the other is from Women's Weekly Food. We’ve also got four chocolate-themed serving plates to go with them. The Gourmet Chocolate Tart from Page 392 of the 1000 Best-Ever Recipes From AWW would look perfect on one of those plates. By the way, The Hulk is always happy to taste test if you need someone.
07.01.2022 One month ago a sinkhole appeared under The Hulk and it was temporarily relocated. That issue has been fixed and The Hulk is now back in its preferred spot. During today’s move we also received a few Terry Pratchett books.

03.01.2022 Thanks to our Hulk-loving community we’ve been inundated with books in recent weeks, especially vampire-themed fantasy romance novels. The books were spilling out the door! Today was so nice we were able to get out and sort through everything and mix up what’s on offer for our adult readers and our junior book lovers. Check out the photos to see what’s on offer.
