23.01.2022 A project we’ve done a couple of months for a very dear customer of ours La Petite Travel Agency at her brand new apartment at the Newmarket Residences Randwick Premium Apartments On top of 5mm Acoustic Underlay we’ve installed this incredibly beautiful Havwoods Australia ‘Fendi’ Engineered Oak herringbone parquetry with all the kitchen and hallway cabinets in place, accommodating for 11mm skirtings and 6mm expansion gaps all around the glass doors, aluminium angles, steel do...or frames, kick boards... 22.01.2022 Well well it’s been awhile since we’ve done a Porters WoodWash job so here we go! The back of the house had 20+ year old Baltic Pine with that awful orange polyurethane we all know too well, while the front section of the house had proper old Baltic floors with massive gaps which got a full replacement including sub floor insulation by NCP Construction. Then it was our turn to give the whole place a good sand, a coat of Porters WoodWash ‘Paper’ and topped it with 3 coats of... the new edition of Urethane Coatings WaterKote Bare Timber to give these beautiful pine floors the ultimate protection. The floor colour now perfectly complements the original cream coloured kitchen and the new wall colour. 20.01.2022 A recently completed project in Penrith, we had the pleasure of being the first ones to sand and finish these 120year old Kauri pine floors and the kitchen bench tops. Luckily the boards themselves were in excellent condition so after a good sand and 3 coats of LOBA On Top WS Duo Matt | Satin they look like a million bucks. All the heritage style design, painting, restoration and details are by the incredibly talented Lisa from LR Creations. Was definitely worth the drive out there to be part of this heritage project!

14.01.2022 We sure had our work cut on this job, but fair to say our team once again passed the test with flying colours. In Sydney terrace houses sufficient clearance under the floor is common issue. Add to that lack of ventilation due to blocked up vents and you’ll have all sorts of flooring issues. The newer Brushbox flooring got a good rough sand to get it back nice and flat while the original Kauri Pine boards got the famous ‘Hun Floors Heritage Treatment’: made sure to save as ...much of the original boards as possible and blend in similarly aged Kauri Pine recycled boards to preserve this beautiful heritage timber as authentic as possible. We’ve also removed about half a tonne of dirt and debris to free up the blocked vents that caused the rot of the joists and bearers.
