22.01.2022 An Artists Reverie Frustrated by Janice Reynolds Rushing water flowing nearer Sounds only heard by those that listen... Crickets and birds and insects in the grass Heard through the sounds of the water flowing past Grasses bending, downward falling, following the stream Shade and light, Ferns alight with the sun resting on their fronds Dying leaves, bits of trees, ants burrowing amongst Decaying smells sweet and sickly Forest floor, wet and sticky Here I sit to try and capture my delight Olinda Falls will I never get it right!!

04.01.2022 Who drew along with Rove McManus and co last night? How did you do? Did you enjoy the challenges of drawing? When we return to some sort of "normal" why don't you come and try life-drawing at The Hut Gallery. We run a popular weekly life drawing workshop on Tuesdays. We are a friendly group of artists, who enjoy a cuppa and a chat half time. It's a casual workshop which allows you to attend when you can. BYO pencils, paper etc. easels and drawing tables are supplied, we al...so have cartridge paper available at 50 cents a sheet. We have 2 long pose days a month on the second and last Tuesdays, allowing artists to complete a work. Remaining Tuesdays are short poses and we have a good variety of very professional models. Weekly 3.15pm 5.15pm. The cost is $17.00 members, $22.00 non-members. Your FIRST SESSION is FREE which gives you the opportunity to "come and try". Here's a couple of my drawings from last night - I haven't done any life drawings for some time. How did you do? Show us your drawings, here's mine. See more
