22.01.2022 Hello and thanks everyone for joining Theia Pictures! (Theia was the greek goddess of sight and the blue sky.) Theia Pictures is a seed of an idea that I have been fostering for many years. It is a means for my vision to manifest, in which I hope to help with the preservation and restoration of Tasmania's wilderness. If any of you wish to receive my weekly blog post to your mailbox, please subscribe on Mountains of Tasmania. ... Click link below to see all previous posts.

21.01.2022 An invitation to all my friends! As some of you may already know, I have recently set up my own picture framing workshop out of our garage! So now I am trying to find a new home for the following artworks! If you are interested in purchasing any of these, I'd be happy to negotiate a price between $150-$350 for each picture, depending on the size, type of frame and glass used.... They range from about 15" wide to 25"wide. All the pictures come sealed up and with hangers on the back, so they are ready to mount. These are all available effective immediate, you just need to come and visit me in Lower Sandy Bay. Please get in touch if you wish to do so. My services as a picture framer are also available for hire... If you are sick of staring at your blank walls during your covid confinements and would like one of your own artworks framed, I can build a custom frame or stretch it if it's a canvas painting. It would be great if you could help by spreading the word and inviting your friends to like this page! Thanks Legends, -Andy

17.01.2022 THEIA was the Titan goddess of sight (thea) and the shining ether of the bright, blue sky (aithre). She was also, by extension, the goddess who endowed gold and silver with their brilliance and intrinsic value. Theia bore the Titan Hyperion three shining children--Helios the Sun, Eos the Dawn, and Selene the Moon. Her name was derived from the Greek words thea "sight" and theiazô "prophesy". She was also named Aithre (Aethra) "Blue-Sky" and Euryphaessa "Wide-Shining" https://www.theoi.com/Titan/TitanisTheia.html
