Byron Bay weddings all weekend: it's time to get out of Dodge and make some people happy (or sad, depending on how the jokes go down) like this pair***! ** When you think about it's hard to know if Fonzie was a gentleman or a creep. He was basically homeless (lived above a garage) and I'm not sure how old his character was but I think the girls he used to hang out with were all RIchie's High School class... but then I also can't remember if he even kiss...ed any of them. Anyways, the romantic notion is that he was a standup guy and would have been in a monogamous, virtuous and legal relationship with this young lady. But they should be wearing helmets. 07.01.2022 See this one? I talk about it a lot. Matt & Bel... at some point between kids. A lot of people, maybe 100? See the umbrellas creeping into the frame? Right in the middle of the ceremony, it started properly raining. I thought we were all going to run to the nearby gazebo for cover, but Matt & Bel never looked like moving. A few of the crowd put their umbrellas up, one of the groomsmen covered the PA, but there was no hint anyone was actually considering trying to stay dry. So... they sat there and listened to me, Bel and Matt did their vows, smiling in the rain. And everyone just got wet. Not sure why, but it was epic. Every time I mention how good it was, and suggest to couples that a backup "dry" venue isn't really necessary, I pretty much get politely ignored. 03.01.2022 Here you go, something new. This is Joel and Susan. I've known Joel since primary school and I never call him Joel. We lived together for a bit in Bondi. Then he started loving Susan and then they had 2 babies. I pretty much made their life complete for them. And I rarely wear a red tie. This was fun, they got married at Casuarina, behind the dunes cos it was so windy that day (I didn't deliberately do my hair like that). I remember the ceremony well because they gave me alm...ost no brief so I was allowed to do whatever I wanted. After the ceremony, things get a little more hazy: a group of guys I don't get to see very often, couple of good kids from Bondi as well... the missus and I had a lovely evening, based on the evidence from the photo booth. I think Angie Branch took this photo, I'm not too sure.
