18.01.2022 It’s World Meditation Day. And this scripture has captivated my heart for some time. The practice of Christian meditation is ancient and rich, and not often spoken about. It’s about meditating on, pondering and chewing over in our minds, mouth & heart all that is good, noble and lovely. It is about pondering and chewing over the liberating and life changing truth that comes with knowing God and the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ. It is about filling our mind with ...goodness, rather than emptying our mind. Ultimately, if we fill our mind with truth, nobility, virtue and good reports, the fear and negativity pushed aside from our thought life. Good overcomes evil / even in our thinking. So as World Meditation Day is celebrated, let’s remember to meditate on all that is: True Noble Just Pure Lovely Of Good Report Of Virtue Praiseworthy. This is how we become crowned with beauty. 02.01.2022 I love this scripture so much. Sometimes the Bible is hard to understand! But it is not meant to be understood without a personal relationship with God. It is a letter of deep love and instruction and a pained and passionate history of God’s rocky & intense love affair with humanity. Rocky, because we can be wilful, difficult, selfish & rebellious. Intense and passionate as this unrelenting love sent His spotless son to the cross. God opens up His word to us as we are in a l...oving & real relationship with Him.
