18.01.2022 Thanks to Nicola Dullard one of our educators with this great Mothers Day idea. Today I made cookies (and individually wrapped them) for the kids to DIY icing and make their own personalised Mother’s Day presents .

The Department has approved programs to be operating and we are so happy to be able to provide something for the children to look forward to (and some respite for parents) in these stressful times. 17.01.2022 Dear Families TheirCare Update The COVID-19 pandemic has created turmoil for everyone and the Outside School Hours Care sector has not been immune.... The attached release is going to the media later today and you may see stories in the press. We wanted to share it with you first. It is IMPORTANT to note: The Holiday Programs are happening. Our educators are looking forward to providing a range of activities for your children to provide a high point during their holidays. Our programs are run with the approval and support of the Education Department. It is not too late to book! If Holiday Programs are cancelled because of an escalation of COVID 19, no family will be charged. TheirCare is not at risk and we will be here for your community. There are some providers that might not make it through the COVID-19 challenge and the impact on employees is immeasurable. It has not been pleasant for us but TheirCare will not be going anywhere. If Schools do close for a period we will be back and ready to provide awesome care when the School bell rings again. Over the past couple of weeks we have seen constant mixed messages from our political leaders around school attendance, which has been very damaging for the Outside School Hours Care sector. What is more challenging is we are being encouraged to run services for those that need it despite no funding support. We are as confused as you by the decisions being made but are obligated to follow directions provided. Thank you for all the words of support that we have received.
