There are many great volunteers at these clubs and if you haven’t heard from a mate in a while, pick up the phone and give them a call to make sure they are right. 11.01.2022 Before we launch into what we're wanting to share today we wanted to drop a note to all rugby players and coaches around the world and say the work doesn't stop.... The world may be slowing down, you may not be allowed outside and you may not even be able to get to a pitch but this doesn't stop you from working on your skills or learning game theory. The worlds best are working when no one else is looking and now it is your chance to do the same. As players and coaches, we're only looking to control the things that are in our sphere of influence which are our thoughts and our bodies - everything else we can just wait and calmly react when it happens. So get outside or stay inside (if you have to) and practice your kicking, practice your passing and practice what will make you better as a player and coach. Rugby is a sport that brings people together so make sure you're tagging mates and let them know that when you take the pitch again that you've been practicing and you've got their backs. Take a look at this clip for some cues to get your goal kicking on point, that you can work on inside or outside. Stay safe, outwork and outlearn. Cheers, From the Rugby Bricks team.

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, With the current situation and the unknown in respects to if rugby will get back to normal for 2020, I’m on the hunt for young fellas to play Colts rugby program in 2020, 2021. Southern Districts Rugby Club are back training in a restricted capacity and have done so for the past 3 weeks and looking forward to a start date (at this stage) for the 18th July with a 10-12 wk competition. ... If your comp is not going ahead and want to have a run at 15 a side rugby, or if you’re finishing year 12 this year and want to compete in Sydney’s premier rugby competition 2021, get in contact with us. I’m looking at running an information night in the near future in the Illawarra district, which is only 40 mins away for training and home games. I’m traveling from the Illawarra as are some of our current players. Car pooling opportunities exist for rugby players wishing to test themselves and play in the, competitive competition in Sydney.
