17.01.2022 Hi all! The JMG MIX and JAM sessions are on hold at this stage until further notice, reason being still awaiting for notice if further funding has been sort. This does NOT mean an end to JMG as we have been here a number of times before. We are sorry for any inconvenience and understand and appreciate how important JMG is to many. 16.01.2022 Hello All, I’m very pleased and excited to let you know that The Jam, The Mix, The Gig Inc. (The JMG) music & mental health Program has secured some more funding, which will enable us to run our ‘The Jam’ and ‘The Mix’ music sessions program from August early December this year. The JMG is very thankful for the decision of the SA Department for Health and Wellbeing to continue its annual funding contribution for the next financial year, which has made this new series of mus...ic sessions possible. As before, all sessions will be on a Wednesday starting at 1pm and will be at the same venue of The Parks Recreation and Sports Centre, 46 Cowan Street, Angle Park in either Theatre 1 or Theatre 2. I will email you the workshop program in mid-July, with the first ‘The Mix’ session to be on Wednesday, August 7th and the first ‘The Jam’ session on Wednesday, August 14th. I will be the Music Director/Tutor for both The Jam and The Mix sessions, supported by our wonderful Program Manager, Phil McTaggart, who will look after all the program administration as well as provide sound equipment and Sound Engineer support as needed. Please pass this news on to those you support or know might be interested in attending and especially those participants who attended on a regular basis during our last series in 2018. I really look forward to seeing everyone again in August and continuing to make great music together as a contribution to managing our health conditions and life challenges. 16.01.2022 Hello All, As The Jam, The Mix, The Gig (The JMG) music & mental health Program has so far not succeeded in securing further funding for the February June 2020 period, our music sessions Program is suspended. However this does not mean the end of The JMG and its music sessions as The JMG Board will continue to pursue funding options.... 13.01.2022 The JMG Band performing at the Festival of Now, 2.25 - 2.45pm this Friday, October 11th. Event runs from 10.30am - 3pm.
