01.01.2022 At CCDA we have a cut off limit of 15 students per class. Our reasons for this? We believe it is essential for student's ability to learn. Children can ease into smaller classes better than a large class because they feel more comfortable. A smaller class size gives each child the opportunity to be heard as well as be spoken to one on one. It aids children to socialise because they are able to work as a group or in pairs, are encouraged to use each others names and aren't pr...essured by others if they need to ask for help. As teachers, it gives us the chance to slow things down if we need to. Not all children learn at the same pace and we understand that. As time can easily be divided among the students we have more time to focus on corrections to ensure each child is getting what they need out of the class. We like to believe our classes can be like a second home to each of our students. We celebrate individuality and quirkiness and hope our students will grow not only in their skills in dance but also the many skills they will need in life. We hope to grow our dance family in 2018 and if you'd like you and your child to join us, please contact us today!
