22.01.2022 Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Super Leon freeing a line on the Main Topsail during a recent sailing. Our crew are real life superheroes. Between them they possess oceans of knowledge, skill and a true spirit of adventure and camaraderie - and we'd be lost without them (no pun intended). Just to add an extra special twist to your lead up to Christmas, and due to popular demand, we are happy to announce a Special Christmas Sailing scheduled for next Friday 18 December at 6pm. Join our merry crew for a special Christmas themed sailing in the beautiful twilight of the North West Coast. Motor from the jetty toward the mouth of the Mersey and perhaps venture out into the Bass Strait and watch the sun...set on a sultry Tassy Christmas evening. 03.01.2022 On Halloween Saturday 2020 a fearsome gang of pirates marauded Reg Hope Park. There were sword fights, treasure hunts, yarns about adventures on the high seas and general skullduggery. The young, and the not so young, donned pirate outfits, played lots of games, walked the plank and had a barrel of fun. Here are a few shots of the antics during our first ever Kids Pirate Party. We intend on running more of these events so please watch this space and our website.... A huge thank you to our motley crew of pirate volunteers who made this day such a success, and to all of those young pirates who participated. 01.01.2022 Unfortunately due to weather conditions the Mersey Yacht Club (MYC) Open Day Sailing activities have had to be cancelled today 17 October. The MYC are currently deciding on a future date in the coming months for this activity so please watch this space. For those of you booked we will be in contact privately to make alternative arrangements with you.
