22.01.2022 Not us but Andy's original band

14.01.2022 Hello. Michael here. I am about to go to play solo at the Seabreeze Hotel in the tastefully developed seaside hamlet of Nelson Bay. I'll be there from 8.30-11.30 tonight, March 6th, 2020. I know it's too far to drive for a couple of hours, but if you happen to be up for the weekend you could come and watch me do things with various devices and machines while drinking beer! Unresistable!... But better still, this Sunday, March 8th, 2020, the Jungle Kings band are playing at the Kent Hotel in groovy Hamilton, from, you guessed it, 8.30-11.30. Yes, the band has been a bit quiet lately, so here is a link to some videos of one of the incarnations at the Royal Hotel in Bondi a few years ago, produced by Mira Productions (thanks guys), to remind yousall what we looked like in 2016 (where did the time go?!). Drummer Byrnes will be there so the link is to his feature tune, the Golden Wedding. Bye-bye! https://www.youtube.com/watch

03.01.2022 Howdy Fellow Isolationists, Michael from the Jungle Kings here. Since things are pretty quiet in the live music arena at this time, I am re-posting this link to us on the youtube playing live at Royal Hotel in Bondi a while back. There are 26 tunes in there filmed by the guys from Miraproduction - thanks guys. Artie Taylor on bull fiddle, Andy Byrnes on drums, Greig Pooley on vocals and jumping over to electric guitar for this gig (Charlie Cole must have been off with the Mov...ing Pictures or something). Anyway, if you haven't seen these already they may fill in a bit of time for you or give you a laugh - https://www.youtube.com/watch And here is our little home-made video of Louis Jordan's Let The Good Times Roll (yes, we are miming) at the Legion Club Charing Cross way way back! This is my video editing and mixing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u9ysux6dIs And Sun Arise, same place, same album - Charlie Cole did the video editing and I did the sound mixing. That's Charlie on yirdaki (didge). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcs6wiueyCM And Rainy Day Women, (I think Charlie edited this one) - https://www.youtube.com/watch And Arthur Crudup's That's Alright Mama, (my editing I think) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgiDIUu5hLQ Here's hoping they all work! There may be more stuff out there that I am unaware of. I just saw something someone else posted. Good luck and love to you all! Keep those letters and cards rolling in! Michael.
