17.01.2022 The Melbourne wind this morning! This was taken in between the group sessions, difficult conditions but great preparation for the weekend. Big congratulations to Jake who is in our older group for continuing his clean sheet run to 3 in a row!! Let's make it another one

Which not only added to the intensity but they also brought along with them a fantastic energy which was shared with their fellow keepers

13.01.2022 TERM 2:: Week 1. Theme: Handling & Positioning Within The Goal. Fantastic turn out by both groups today on such a cold morning. ... Aim of the session: Group - Little Champs Learning and executing how to move around the goal mouth while maintaining correct body position. Coming off your goal line to close down the angle. Near post and far post shots - don't anticipate, react. Group - Advanced How to cover the goal quickly while still being composed. Angled shots - staying light and having clean saves. How to react if the shot is parried into a dangeous area. Crossing and Distribution. Onto next week!

Both age groups absolutely dominated this session, a mixuture of intensity, fun and disciplined technique brought our sessions to a whole different standard.... All junior keepers attended as the older keepers had other duties to attend to. For such a cold night we managed to create some energy and smash out some diving!!
