21.01.2022 Hi everyone At Long Last I can finally announce we have a fresh shipment of top quality seals on their way to suit Tilley X246 Tilley Lanterns We will also be securing a supply of Primus seals and pump bucket leathers. 20.01.2022 We have just finished refurbishing this beautiful lantern. It has been fitted with all new seals and pump leather. Vapouriser has been completely cleaned treated and tested. Cage and tank are coated in top quality heat cured enamel paint. Hood is in great condition with no cracking or rust. Globe is authentic Pyrex/Tilley 171 as in the picture. Lantern burns beautifully with no issues and has been fully tested. 16.01.2022 Good Morning from Western Australia where for once it is not so sunny, Here are two new lamps that are up for sale. Both have been freshly refurbished and polished. One is a X246 original that has been taken back to brass and polished to a mirror finish, the other is a 246B that is in great condition. it has been polished and is also a fine looking lantern. I'm asking for $130au for each plus postage but as always I am open to negotiation :) More photos to follow.

15.01.2022 This is the second 246B we have refinished like this, the brass tank has been polished to a mirror finish, The cage has been painted with a chemical and heat proof brass coloured coating that will stand the test of time. The vapouriser has been fully cleaned and tested. All new seals have been fitted and new pump leather. The globe is an authentic Pyrex made 171. Most importantly the lantern burns beautifully. 03.01.2022 Some of today's works. My Austramax is all back up and working. Also another Austramax that Sam my wife stripped down and rebuilt I think she has done an awesome job on it. They are both still running strong in the lounge room this evening I must say adding a lovely light and a welcome bit of warmth.

02.01.2022 Refurbishing Hoods, it has taken a while to work out the right enamel paint and the right process to bring these back to life . I will be offering fully refurbished hoods for sale now. In brown or black to suit. Please not the brass coloured hood in the photo is the colour before final treatment and coating with comes very close to the original brown hoods.

01.01.2022 The Tilley R1 heater with a stainless steel mantle I made this afternoon. It is working brilliantly, it heated the lounge room so well I had to turn it off.
